We hinted at a Chicago release event a while back and WOW has it all come together…
•To answer your first question: no, the band is not playing. But every single one of them will be there, along with artist James Romberger, to sign your copies of the Broken Things record & comic. (Additional copies will be available for sale at the shop)
•Plus, our friends from WAX TRAX will have a pop-up there featuring NR’s new Amishes single, NR shirts, and the full length Over the Overlords LP.
•Quimby’s, as you may know, is one of the greatest comic / book / zine shops in the USA and this event also falls on the birthday of store managerLiz Mason! Happy birthday, Liz!
•There is a rumor of some FREE SHIT.
•There will be silkscreened event posters for sale featuring new James Romberger & Josh Bayers art.
•There is an official unofficial afterparty in the works.
It will be a good time! If you’re in the Chicago area, we hope to see you there!

This DIY stuff is all fun and games until you’re literally Ding It all by Yourself. We’re happy that we’ve been able to get out the vast majority of the Kickstarter rewards, but sorry that we’re still not finished. Each day we’re taking more and more of your records, t-shirts and books to the post office:
We expect we will be finished shipping the last 100 rewards (thanks to you 100 for your incredible patience) by next week. As we ship, you’ll receive a notification with tracking info via email.

If you're in NYC or have friends who are, we're hosting an inherently small party at Hey Kids Comics! (a very small shop) on Monday, December 12 from 6-9pm. James Romberger & Josh Bayer will be on hand to sign stuff and talk comics & punk rock. Please spread the word!
